January 8, 2025

For members of the press with questions about our response, contact AT&T Media Relations. For customers who need assistance, please contact AT&T Support. share Latest Updates Jan. 6, 2025, 6:12 p.m. EST Our teams are closely tracking Winter Storm Blair and responding to network impacts across affected areas. We understand how important it is to stay connected and as weather conditions permit, we are dispatching technicians to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. We have one of the industry’s largest disaster response programs to help keep wireless and wireline communications running during times of disaster. We’ve prepared our network for this storm by: Boosting network capacity to accommodate increased call volume. Testing the high-capacity backup batteries located at cell sites. Staging portable generators and maintaining existing fixed generators. Staging emergency response and network recovery equipment in strategic locations for quick deployment following the storm. In addition, the FirstNet Response Operations Group™ (ROG) at AT&T – led by former first responders – continues to support emergency communications for first responders and is prepared to deploy redundant, backup connectivity solutions, where requested. We will continue to monitor and respond to impacts from the storm and remain focused on keeping our customers, their families and first responders connected.
