Applications enable mobile, fixed and converged operators to capitalize on the expansion of mobile communication device options
GAITHERSBURG, MD, January 24, 2011 – BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:BSFT, news, filings), the leading global provider of IP-based communications services to the telecommunications industry, today announced MobileMxD™ – an integrated suite of Consumer and Unified Communications (UC) services optimized for 4G networks and the growing variety of smartphones and tablet devices. With MobileMxD, Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) will be able to provide greater value to their existing consumer services, while tapping into the growing enterprise demand for mobile UC applications.
Fixed and converged operators can leverage BroadCloud™ – the company’s recently announced cloud-based, hosted infrastructure for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) communications capabilities – to brand and customize UC and consumer solutions, and to shrink time-to-market for delivering these services.
