Midland, Texas., Sept. 26, 2019 – To support the growing demand for enterprise services in the oil and gas industry, as well as other organizations, CenturyLink,Inc. (NYSE:CTL, news, filings) is making a strategic investment to expand its network infrastructure in Midland-Odessa, Texas.

This investment includes expanding the current footprint by more than 13 route miles of fiber, creating a ring for the Midland-Odessa area to support the expanding energy sector corporations and other businesses, while managing the increasing demand for high-speed internet and data capacity on CenturyLink’s robust global network.

The Midland-Odessa initial infrastructure design began in November-2018 and construction is expected to be completed by the end of October-2019.
