All Verizon customers will receive unlimited texts and calling originating from the U.S. to the Bahamas, from September 2 through September 9, 2019 (applicable taxes and surcharges will apply).
Unlimited calling, texting and data offer has been expanded to additional Verizon consumer (prepaid and postpaid) and small business customers in Georgia and North Carolina in the path of Hurricane Dorian.
Our Verizon Response team is available 24/7 and ready to coordinate with first responders should Dorian cause damage in any of the areas in the path of the storm.
Following Hurricane Dorian’s battering of the Bahamas, we are offering support to our U.S. customers who are concerned about family and friends there. Verizon customers will receive unlimited calling and texting from the U.S. to the Bahamas, from September 2 through 9, 2019 (applicable taxes and surcharges will apply). Our Verizon roaming partner in the Bahamas is working quickly to restore services impacted by the storm and we will stay in contact with them as their work continues.
As Dorian makes its way up the coast of Florida, Verizon’s network has felt negligible impact with performance remaining at normal levels. We continue to stay vigilant and move mobile assets and Verizon Response teams up the coast to be ready for Dorian’s potential impact in Georgia and the Carolinas. Additionally, beginning Wednesday, September 4 through September 9, Verizon is expanding its unlimited calling, texting and data offer to consumer and small business customers who live in the following counties:
Georgia: Appling County, Bacon County, Bulloch County, Charlton County, Clinch County, Echols County, Evans County, Screven County, Tattnall County, Ware County, Washington County
North Carolina: Carteret County, Currituck County, Dare County, Duplin County, New Hanover County, Onslow County, Pamlico County, Tyrrell County, Washington County
Those counties join the following that were previously announced:
Florida: Brevard County, Clay County, Duval County, Flagler County, Glades County, Hendry County, Highlands County, Indian River County, Martin County, Nassau County, Okeechobee County, Osceola County, Palm Beach County, Putnam County, Seminole County, St. Johns County, St. Lucie County, Volusia County
Georgia: Brantley County, Bryan County, Camden County, Chatham County, Effingham County, Glynn County, Liberty County, Long County, McIntosh County, Pierce County, Wayne County
North Carolina: Hyde County

Customers can verify eligibility for call, text, and data relief by entering their zip code at Verizon Wireless.
Our Verizon Response team is available 24/7 and stands ready to coordinate with first responders should Dorian cause damage in any of the areas in the path of the storm. We have mobilized charging stations, devices, special equipment, emergency vehicles and more to support local, state and federal agencies across the US as needed. First responder customers with wireless priority service should utilize *272 when placing calls.
Verizon retail stores may be closed or have reduced hours due to the storm. You can find the nearest one that’s open by visiting Verizon Wireless.
Verizon customers can help the American Red Cross or World Central Kitchen in their disaster relief efforts by texting the word DORIAN to 90999 for American Red Cross, or FOOD to 80100 for World Central Kitchen, and $10 will be added to their Verizon Wireless bill upon confirmation of the billing zip code. Customers looking to support the Florida Disaster Relief Fund can text DISASTER or DISASTER25 to 20222 and $10 or $25 respectively will be added to their Verizon Wireless bill.
