CenturyLink earns top ranking for 2019 Corporate Equality Index
Company scores 100 percent on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s annual scorecard on LGBTQ workplace equality

MONROE, La., March 28, 2019 – CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE:CTL, news, filings) announced it has earned a top score of 100 percent in the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national survey and report by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality.
The 2019 CEI report evaluates companies on their LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, and domestic partner benefits.

Designed to drive cultural change, the Index is an integral part of the HRC’s efforts to foster greater inclusion of the entire LGBTQ community.
