Healthcare customers benefit from highly secure and compliant solution delivered through a software defined data center experience
OVERLAND PARK, KS (November 13, 2018) – Responding to increasing demand for highly flexible and compliant IT infrastructure, QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS), a leading provider of hybrid colocation and mega-scale data center solutions, today announced an agreement with TruBridge, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CPSI (NASDAQ: CPSI), to provide hybrid colocation services supporting the expansion of the HIPAA compliant TruBridge Cloud Services utilized by healthcare organizations across the CPSI family of companies.
A QTS customer since 2009, TruBridge, a provider of business, IT and consulting services for hospitals, physician clinics, and skilled nursing organizations, utilizes QTS’ Atlanta Metro and Richmond mega data centers to run its production IT and disaster recovery environments.
To accommodate rapid business growth, TruBridge recently expanded its deployment of QTS’ hybrid colocation that underpins the infrastructure of the HIPAA compliant TruBridge Cloud Services currently deployed across more than 500 acute and post-acute care facilities throughout the United States. QTS’ hybrid colocation architecture provides flexible software-defined control, real-time analytics and visibility, and access to public and private cloud ecosytems, when necessary.
“Our customers require a secure and reliable solution with diverse connectivity options as they onboard from their on-premise environment to our TruBridge Cloud Services,” said Patrick Immel, Senior Vice President, TruBridge. “QTS’ hybrid colocation and Service Delivery Platform allows us to dynamically optimize both current and future IT requirements through a software-defined data center experience.”
“QTS continues to expand its expertise serving the healthcare arena,” said Clint Heiden, Chief Revenue Officer, QTS. “We are pleased to provide TruBridge with a flexible hybrid colocation solution engineered to serve as the foundation of their HIPAA compliant cloud services.”
QTS’ Service Delivery Platform (SDP) is the industry’s first platform engineered to manage and optimize hybrid colocation deployments. Launched in 2017, SDP aggregates, analyzes and automates data across all of its customers’ IT environments. With speed and agility paramount, and a focus on enabling a richer customer experience, QTS SDP allows customers to interact with their data center deployments in a way that is simple, seamless and available on demand.
