- Junkins to share insight on the future of telecommunications industry at exclusive industry event
WHAT: NTT America, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) and a Tier-1 global IP network services provider, is participating at the second annual FiRe Global: West Coast Conference in Seattle.
Doug Junkins, NTT America CTO and vice president of IP development, will participate in the panel titled, “The Future of Telecommunications: Building Services on Bandwidth.” In this informative dialog, Junkins – along with an executive from Deutsche Telekom – will discuss trends in the Global IP space and identify solutions for the growing market.
FiRe Global, hosted by Mark Anderson, CEO of Strategic News Service, is an innovative event that leverages the collective intelligence and innovation of global and local thought leaders to solve problems of broad and shared impact.
WHO: Junkins serves as both CTO of NTT America and vice present of IP development for the company’s Global IP Network Business Unit.
Prior to NTT America, Junkins held leadership roles at Verio (acquired by NTT Communications) and Seattle-based regional IP network provider NorthWestNet. He has a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Washington. Junkins is a frequent speaker at industry events.
