AT&T Named Among America’s Most JUST Companies

JUST Capital and Forbes has named AT&T “America’s Most JUST Company for 2016 in the Telecommunication Services industry” after ranking how well a company’s conduct aligns with Americans’ views on corporate behavior and business culture.

AT&T was recently named “America’s Most JUST Company for 2016 in the Telecommunication Services industry.” This is part of JUST Capital and Forbes’ inaugural “JUST 100 List.”

The ranking reflects how well a company’s conduct aligns with Americans’ views on corporate behavior and business culture, as determined by JUST Capital. Each company is ranked against its peers in each of 32 major U.S. industries.

JUST Capital surveyed 50,000 Americans about their attitudes toward issues like fair pay, non-discrimination in hiring, workplace safety, following laws and regulations, respecting workers and creating jobs in the U.S.

“AT&T is committed to operating with integrity and trust,” said Charlene Lake, chief sustainability officer, AT&T. “We always strive to do the right thing in all areas of our business. And we take seriously our responsibility to our customers, employees, shareholders, vendors and the communities in which we do business.”

The inaugural JUST 100 list will appear in Forbes’ “Impact and Philanthropy” issue on Dec. 20. For the complete list and more feature stories, visit: www.forbes.com/just100.
