ADVA Optical Networking announced today that Light Reading, one of the networking industry’s leading editorial organizations, has named the company a finalist for multiple Leading Lights Awards. ADVA Optical Networking is shortlisted in four key categories: Company of the Year, Best Deal Maker, Best Telecom Product and Best NFV Strategy. The company is recognized for its innovative network solutions and for dramatic growth, after reporting a 30 percent increase in revenue for 2015. The ADVA Ensemble product series is specifically nominated for its proven ability to help communication service providers (CSPs) successfully implement network functions virtualization (NFV).

Light Reading’s shortlisting of ADVA Optical Networking for four major Leading Lights Awards highlights a year of unprecedented success for the technology vendor. In 2015, it expanded its addressable market for next-generation cloud and mobile services and continued its innovation leadership with the launch of several new products. With the increasing demand for DCI technology and the growing momentum of 100G solutions in the metro, the company increased its profits by 217 percent compared with 2014. Light Reading is also acknowledging the acquisition of Overture in January, a purchase that enables ADVA Optical Networking to offer a complete NFV solution.

The winners of the Leading Lights Awards will be announced at the Big Communications Event in Austin, Texas, on May 23. ADVA Optical Networking will also be exhibiting and speaking at the event from May 24 until May 25.
