Ethernet Private Line to connect office locations between Omaha and Kansas City
Omaha, NE (January 27, 2016) – Unite Private Networks (UPN) announced today a recent partnership with leading industrial engine and electrical generator set experts, Anderson Industrial Engines. UPN will provide an Ethernet Private Line (EPL) solution connecting office locations in Nebraska and an intercity EPL between Omaha and Kansas City, as well as Ethernet Internet access.
“Our Ethernet Private Line solution will enable Anderson Industrial Engines to transmit sensitive, bandwidth intensive applications between locations securely, and cost effectively,” said Stuart Howerter, Vice President at Unite Private Networks. “Our carrier-grade fiber-optic network infrastructure provides a dedicated and secure Ethernet solution that’s easily scalable to 100Gbps, and can continue to help businesses in the region meet their bandwidth needs.”
“With our recent expansions to a building across town and a branch office in Kansas City, we were struggling to identify a communications strategy that gave all of our employees equal access to servers and network resources,” said Zach Turner, President at Anderson Industrial Engines. “We didn’t want to handicap everyone that didn’t work out of the main office or deal with server replication. UPN’s private fiber network provided the perfect solution to our problem. We now have three branch locations joined by high bandwidth, low latency connections that allow us to work just like we were on a single local network.”
