New York, NY, October 20, 2015 – Travis Noble has joined Unite Private Networks (UPN), the Kansas City, Missouri-based provider of high-bandwidth, fiber-based communications networks and services, as senior vice president of Enterprise Sales. In his new role, Noble will lead the firm’s targeted enterprise sales activities within the Midwest, providing both direct oversight of sales activities for his defined customer segment, as well as the development of the sales strategy and sales function needed to drive UPN’s growth and achievement of its financial targets.
UPN serves schools, governments, carriers, data centers, hospitals and enterprise business customers in nearly 300 communities across a 20-state service area. The firm is a recognized leader in providing fiber-optic connectivity among multiple locations, based on its deep technological expertise, as well as the technical assistance and responsive customer service that foster long-term client relationships.
“Travis brings the dynamic, goal-oriented personality needed to succeed in sales, especially in the fast-paced, competitive telecommunications business,” said Jason W. Adkins, president of UPN. “When you add in his record in building and leading effective teams that consistently increase sales revenues, it gives us exactly the kind of leadership we need to see our sales continue to grow in line with our overall business goals”
Noble previously was a senior executive for tw telecom, where he served in a variety of product management, sales and general management positions in the Southeast and Midwest. His expertise in multi-channel sales strategies, operational efficiencies and the development and execution of aggressive business plans has helped him earn numerous awards for creative excellence in marketing.
“This is a very exciting opportunity for me,” Noble said. “I enjoy new challenges that give me the opportunity to apply my talents to do more. UPN is a terrific company, with great people, huge capabilities and a great offering of products, services and value for its customers. My job now is to help make sure more and more enterprises across the Midwest see and appreciate all that UPN can do for them.”
A graduate of Iowa State University, Noble will be located in Kansas City, Missouri, reporting to Adkins.
“The way to describe Travis is ‘high achiever,’” said Vicki Devlin, partner at Acertitude. “He has consistently taken on greater responsibilities in his career, and improved sales performance in every assignment. He understands the sales process inside out, and builds exactly the kind of skilled and motivated sales teams any growth-focused company would want, not to mention the solid, lasting client relationships that UPN thrives on.” Devlin’s comments reflect Acertitude’s focus on re-imagining the role of executive search.
“Acertitude dives deeper into all the criteria for success as a leader for each client and every assignment,” she said. “By doing so, we can find not just good candidates, but people like Travis, who are an ideal match for the position.”
