Not long ago, Sprint announced an offer for DIRECTV customers that’s simply too good to refuse – one free year of service if they switch to Sprint. What better way to tell DIRECTV customers about this amazing deal that would help save them money than advertise on DIRECTV? So, imagine our surprise when we tried to buy advertising on DIRECTV and our requests were denied.
This week, we sent a letter from our Chief Marketing Officer to AT&T and DIRECTV executives. So far, they don’t appear to be taking our offer seriously.
Today, we decided to take our offer directly to DIRECTV customers through some targeted advertisements in several newspaper across the country so that DIRECTV customers who are hungry to save money on their wireless bills would at least know about our 12 months of free service offer.
