Global Colocation Solutions Provider CyrusOne Continues Expansion in Phoenix Data Center Campus With New 120,000-Square-Foot Shell

DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Global colocation solutions provider CyrusOne (:CONE, news) announced today that construction is underway on a new 120,000-square-foot shell at the company’s Phoenix campus. The shell is expected to be complete in late 2015. Additionally, another 36,000 square feet of colocation space (CSF), delivering up to 6 megawatts of power, is slated for completion in the third quarter of 2015 at Phoenix II. The Phoenix II facility is ultimately planned to have 240,000 square feet of data center space and will deliver up to 24 megawatts of power.

The phase I construction of Phoenix II was completed in just 107 days, in what is believed to be the fastest data center construction project built from the ground up in the United States. When fully built, the Phoenix campus is expected to provide up to 1,000,000 square feet of data center space on the campus, with over 100 megawatts of power, making it one of the largest and most energy-efficient facilities in the United States.
