For Second Consecutive Year, NTT Communications Named 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Data Center Service Provider of the Year

TOKYO, JAPAN — NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the ICT Solutions and international communications business within the NTT (NYSE:NTT, news, filings) Group, announced today that it was named the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Data Center Service Provider of the Year for the second consecutive year. The results were announced at the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards in Singapore on June 17.

According to Jessie Yu, Industry Manager, Asia Pacific ICT Practice of Frost & Sullivan, “NTT Communications (NTT Com) upped the stakes in the data center services space by launching its next-generation data center services branded as “Nexcenter” in April 2013. To meet the burgeoning demand of data center services in Asia-Pacific, the service provider has been expanding its data center footprint across the region. In 2014 alone, NTT Com launched three enterprise-class data centers, respectively India Bangalore 2, Malaysia Cyberjaya 4, and Shanghai Pudong Data Center.”

“By bringing in value-added services to its data center customers, NTT Com’s “revenue realization per square meter” was noteworthy as it surpassed a majority of its competitors in the market. NTT Com has further consolidated its strong positioning in the Asia-Pacific data center services market in 2014 and Frost & Sullivan expects it to continue providing strong competition to global and regional market participants.”

Also during the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards, Arkadin, an NTT Communications company, was named Asia Pacific Collaboration Service Provider of the Year for the 3rd consecutive time, in recognition of its outstanding collaboration services.
