Phoenix Business Journal writes, Grand Canyon University is engaging in a partnership with ViaWest, a data center provider, to support the university’s IT infrastructure along with offering students opportunities to intern and learn with ViaWest staff. GCU will be working with the company’s 42,500-square-foot Phoenix data center to support GCU’s online classes, email and chat functions along with other IT needs, and it will operate as one of the two primary data centers GCU uses.
