ViaWest has begun construction on its third datacenter in the Portland market in Hillsboro, Oregon. The Brookwood datacenter will be a stand-alone greenfield development facility that will provide over 200,000 gross square feet and 138,000 square feet of net sellable space when fully built out. The facility’s first phase will provide 50,000 square feet of raised floor, and will have its electrical infrastructure deployed in multiple phases.
