AMS-IX Partnership Focuses On Amsterdam As Interconnection Hub
Amsterdam, 27 January 2015 – EvoSwitch, a leading provider of sustainable and innovative carrier- and cloud-neutral data center services, today announced that the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX) has awarded EvoSwitch with Gold Partner Status for the second year running. The highest tier status is reserved for its most successful partners that connect ISPs, Content and Cloud Providers, and other Internet related parties to the Exchange. EvoSwitch colocates part of the AMS-IX network infrastructure at its AMS1 data center in the Greater Amsterdam region, where customers can connect to around 700 AMS-IX-connected networks from all over the world.
AMS-IX revamped its Partner Program in 2013 introducing a tiered status for partners while leveraging co-marketing to promote both the partners as well as Amsterdam as a hub for interconnection on the public Internet.
