SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (September 27, 2010) – FairPoint Communications has expanded broadband to an additional 50 homes and businesses in the Highgate, Vermont area.
The high-speed Internet service was recently expanded to reach customers along Frontage Road, as well as Breet, Cadieux, Endeavors, First, Frontage, Gagne, Hodgdon, LaFar, Swanton, Torrie and Waugh Farm roads. Customers can now e-mail photos, download music and surf the Internet faster than previously on dial-up service.
FairPoint has increased access to high-speed Internet service from 66 to 80 percent of its Vermont customers since 2008.
