New video highlights critical nature of business transformation for 21st century manufacturing
Advanced technologies are revolutionizing business and consumer habits. Verizon’s enterprise clients regularly visit our flagship Innovation Centers in San Francisco and Waltham, Mass to experience how new and emerging technologies can transform their organizations, industries and customers’ experiences. Both Centers have expanded in recent years — Waltham three years ago and San Francisco last year — to accommodate the rapid influx of new technologies now available across all sectors.
Technology innovation was a lively topic recently at our San Francisco Innovation Center where experts gathered to discuss the critical intersection of the manufacturing industry and technology. Co-hosted by the National Association of Manufacturers, the evolving role of the ‘SMAC Stack’ — social, mobile, analytics and cloud — was a focal point for the panelists, which included Scot Allen with Verizon’s manufacturing practice, Andrew Coleman with Teradata Corporation, Shahram Mehraban from Intel and Doug Brent with Trimble.
This new video captures the spirit of the event and is the first in a four-part series that will explore how technology is driving innovation across the enterprise, including the financial services, healthcare and retail markets.
