Global broadband solutions leader demonstrates continued commitment to quality with TL9000 certification for European facilities and ETSI product portfolio
HUNTSVILLE, Ala.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jun. 2, 2014– ADTRAN®, Inc., (NASDAQ:ADTN, news, filings), a leading provider of next-generation networking solutions, today announced the expansion of its TL 9000 Certification across facilities and European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) product categories. The TL 9000 Quality Management System (QMS) standardization has now been achieved for four design and operations locations in Germany, as well as the hiX 5600 product portfolio and the Access Integrator Ethernet (ACI-E) service management platform. ADTRAN has also been recognized with recertification for sixteen current product categories from its Enterprise and Carrier Networks divisions.
With accelerated growth in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) market, ADTRAN took steps to ensure that its processes and products serving regions around the globe meet the same high quality requirements for design, development, production, delivery and service across ADTRAN’s entire solution portfolios. The addition of the German facilities in Berlin, Munich, Bruchsal and Greifswald brings the total to nine global operations centers that have successfully been certified as part of ADTRAN’s multi-site registration.
“The TL 9000 certification recognizes the best of industry vendors in terms of overall hardware, software and services quality.
