Sprint And National Radio Show Join Together To Increase Startup Visibility Throughout America
(KANSAS CITY, MO) May 6, 2014 – Dream Big America and Sprint announced today that they are joining together to give national exposure and support to promising startups around the country.
Dream Big America, a radio show pitting vetted business startups against each other, was created to showcase America’s upcoming entrepreneurs. The weekly competition gives entrepreneurs access to one of the largest nationally syndicated talk show audiences in the country, and simultaneously provides the American public an opportunity to support and engage with the startups.
“We’re thrilled to team up with Sprint, a proven leader in our country’s entrepreneurial movement who is demonstrating, once again, its vision to support entrepreneurs across America. This relationship supercharges our ability to highlight the best of the best startups across the country,” said Doug Stephan, the Dream Big America show host.
The collaboration between Dream Big America and Sprint extends beyond the radio program. It also creates a unique online destination, the interactive Sprint Startup Zone, at DreamBigAmerica.us, that showcases the experiences of startup founders and provides engaging content and resources for entrepreneurs and supporters alike. The Sprint Startup Zone will launch this summer.
“By joining together, Sprint and Dream Big America will be able to help provide new and valuable opportunities for entrepreneurs to promote their companies and gain valuable insights,” said Kevin McGinnis, vice president of Pinsight Media+, a division of Sprint. “From the Dream Big America national radio show to the online Sprint Startup Zone, Sprint is pleased to be further extending our reach and support to the entrepreneur community across the country.”

About Dream Big America
Tapping into the surging entrepreneurial movement spreading across the country, Dream Big America strives to educate and support startups, all while providing an exciting venue for America to choose which new businesses it wants to see hit the market.
Each week, three entrepreneurs pitch their startups to a live audience and expert panelist. The national audience then has a full day to vote for their favorite startup, and that entrepreneur advances to the Finals round at the end of the month. The Finals round, which is the last Tuesday of every month, showcases the three highest vote-receiving startups from the preceding three weeks. Again, the national audience selects their favorite startup, and a monthly Dream Big Champion is announced.
Dream Big America airs each Tuesday at 9:10am to 9:30am ET on Doug Stephan’s Good Day Program (www.DougStephan.com). Doug Stephan’s Good Day Program is syndicated to over 500 markets across the United States with a weekly listening audience of 3.5 million.
