Feb. 24 event at DU’s Newman Center is free and open to the public
BOULDER, Colo.—Feb. 20, 2014—Zayo Group, LLC (“Zayo”) Chairman and CEO Dan Caruso will be the featured presenter at the next Voices of Experience speaker series, hosted by the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, on Monday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts.
Caruso co-founded Zayo Group in 2006 and has since helped shape the company into one of the largest and fastest growing companies along Colorado’s Front Range. His Voices of Experience presentation will highlight the boom, meltdown and resurgence of fiber networks and how the Front Range has established itself as the center of the competitive fiber and bandwidth infrastructure industry. He also will weigh in on his experiences as a serial entrepreneur and Colorado’s vibrant start-up scene. Following his presentation, Caruso will participate in an audience question and answer session.
Caruso has been recognized nationally by Ernst & Young as an Entrepreneur of the Year 2011, and locally by the Denver Post and the Boulder Chamber of Commerce for his entrepreneurial contributions to the telecommunications industry and other Colorado higher education initiatives. In 2013, he received the Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement Award from the Colorado Technology Association.
The Voices of Experience speaker series hosts CEOs and significant leaders to share the lessons learned from triumphs, mistakes and decisions as they navigated through their careers.
