Donations Made to Wounded Warrior Project, Boys & Girls Club of Metro Richmond and U.S. Dream Academy
Overland Park, KS. (May 23, 2013) – QTS (Quality Technology Services), one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing providers of data center facilities and managed services, recently made donations totaling $30,000 to three diverse community organizations as part of its ongoing Community Impact program. The organizations receiving donations included the Wounded Warrior Project, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond and the U.S. Dream Academy.
The donations were presented Friday, May 3 during the grand opening of QTS’ federal cloud computing lab at its Richmond, Va., data center. The lab will be used to develop the next generation of secure cloud computing capabilities in alignment with the needs of the Department of Defense.
Established in February 2012, QTS’ Community Impact program focuses on partnerships with non-profit organizations and agencies to strengthen and enhance communities. Previous QTS Community Impact initiatives include collaborations with the Wounded Warrior Project and the U.S. Dream Academy as well as organizations that are local to QTS’ data center facilities. In 2012 the Community Impact program contributed more than $125,000 to non-profit organizations.
