Minneapolis – Aug. 2, 2010 – Integra Telecom Inc., an integrated communications provider for business, has promoted Dan Wigger to senior vice president for Integra Telecom of Minnesota and North Dakota. In this role, Wigger will oversee the company’s operations, customer service and new business development throughout Integra’s Minnesota and North Dakota markets. Wigger, who previously served as vice president of operations for Integra Telecom of Minnesota and North Dakota, is based in Minneapolis and reports to Steve Wachter, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Integra Telecom.
“Wigger is a natural leader with an innate ability to develop and execute business strategies,” said Wachter. “He understands the need to combine reliable products and services with a quality customer experience, and I look forward to his leadership in our Minnesota and North Dakota markets.”
Wigger has nearly 20 years of telecommunications experience. He joined Integra Telecom in 2007 through its acquisition of Eschelon Telecom. While at Eschelon, he most recently served as vice president of engineering and was a member of the company’s executive leadership team that led Eschelon’s initial public offering and acquisition of five regional telecommunications companies. Wigger holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University-Fresno.
