Agreement with global telecommunications leader is the latest in a series of milestones and achievements that Emerald Networks has announced regarding Emerald Express, the new-build submarine cable system connecting North America to Europe and Iceland.
DUBLIN, Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Emerald Networks, a new-build network submarine cable system that will connect North America to Europe and Iceland with extraordinary new capacity, announced today the signing of a Landing Party Agreement (LPA) with multinational telecommunications provider AT&T.
Under this agreement AT&T will provide facilities and operational support for terminating the Emerald Express subsea cable at the former TAT12/13 cable station in Shirley, NY. This infrastructure will enable Emerald Express to utilize the most innovative optical technologies and provide the most advanced undersea telecommunications system constructed to date.

This news is the latest in a series of strategic company milestones that Emerald Networks has announced recently.
