FRANKFURT, Germany, Oct. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgerate GmbH (BSH), Europe’s largest manufacturer of home appliances, has extended its global contract with AT&T* and added ten new locations in Asia to support its growth in key emerging markets. These new locations will be connected to the global Wide Area Network (WAN), which will now cover a total of 70 BSH production and sales sites worldwide in a deal worth €16.2 million.
- The agreement is built on AT&T’s proven track record as a key global supplier for BSH. AT&T has operated a powerful and highly available IP-based global virtual private network for BSH across 25 countries in Europe, the US, Latin America and Asia since 2004.
- The new agreement extends the contract by 56 months, increases available capacity and network resources for BSH around the world and adds new locations to the network.
- AT&T’s reliable and efficient network infrastructure supports BSH’s global use of high definition video conferencing.
