Acme Packet SBCs selected for Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Multitenant Pack for Partner Hosting

Market leading SBCs enable service providers to introduce fully-featured and interoperable Microsoft Lync-based UC services for enterprises

BEDFORD, MA, MARCH 6, 2012Acme Packet (NASDAQ:APKT), the leader in session delivery network solutions, today announced that Microsoft Corp. has selected the Acme Packet Net-Net Session Director session border controllers (SBCs) for the Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Multitenant Pack for Partner Hosting, a unified communications (UC) hosting solution for telecom and hosting providers. In addition, Acme Packet announced today that its Net-Net Session Director is part of the Microsoft Lync Hosted Pack Reference Architecture, a blueprint that hosting providers use to create UC services for enterprise customers, and that Acme Packet has joined the Microsoft Lync Hosted Pack Reference Architecture Partner Ecosystem, a group of IP communications product vendors and service providers organized by Microsoft to create solutions that enable the introduction of an array of UC services based on Microsoft Lync.

The UCOIP qualification enables telecom and hosting providers to deploy complete UC services based on Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Multitenant Pack.
