Frankfurt am Main, June 2026 – CloudKleyer Frankfurt GmbH participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new FRA1 data center developed by noris network AG in Schwalbach am Taunus, located near Frankfurt am Main. The event represented a significant milestone in the ongoing development of Germany’s digital infrastructure landscape.
CloudKleyer was represented at the ceremony by Jan Weller, Managing Director of CloudKleyer Frankfurt GmbH. The event brought together representatives from the data center industry, technology companies, infrastructure specialists, and project partners involved in the ecosystem.
The FRA1 data center is planned to become a major addition to the Frankfurt region’s infrastructure capacity. Upon completion, the facility will provide approximately 7,000 square meters of IT space and up to 30 megawatts of power capacity. It is being designed to support artificial intelligence workloads, high-performance computing environments, and enterprise-level IT systems.
One of the symbolic moments of the ceremony was the installation of a time capsule at the construction site of the future data center. Guests and company representatives placed commemorative messages and wishes inside the capsule as a gesture marking the beginning of the project.
In the context of increasing demand for digital infrastructure across Europe, projects such as FRA1 play an important role in expanding capacity and enabling next-generation cloud and enterprise services.
