Industry’s first native 24-fiber testers simplify inside/outside data center validation for accelerated builds
QUEBEC CITY, Feb. 19, 2026 — EXFO, the communications industry’s test and measurement experts, today introduced its high fiber count data center test solution augmented with two new test instruments—the industry’s first native 24-fiber capable testers purpose-built to support the speed and scale of today’s hyperscale and AI data center builds.

The two new products added to EXFO’s high fiber count data center solution today—EXFO’s FTB-Lite 975 simplex, duplex, and multi-fiber bidirectional certifier and the new PXM/LXM duplex and multi-fiber OLTS (optical loss test set)—will equip technicians and engineers to simply, accurately, and quickly fulfill test requirements inside and beyond data centers, from high-volume certification to troubleshooting. These innovative testers will be showcased at Data Center World in London March 4-6 (booth #B202) and OFC 2026 in Los Angeles (booth #523) March 17-19.
The FTB-Lite 975 delivers end-to-end automation, bidirectional touchless testing, and ORL visibility, plus one-touch referencing SmartRef™ for validation and troubleshooting with visual diagnostics. EXFO’s PXM/LXM is the essential OLTS Tier 1 tester, a leading solution in 24-fiber environments. EXFO’s high fiber count solution also features the FIP-500, the industry’s first AI-driven end face analysis for simplex, duplex and multi-fiber connectors.
