DENVER (Jan. 20, 2026) – Vantage Data Centers, a leading global provider of hyperscale data center campuses, today announced its appointment to the Open Compute Project (OCP) Foundation Advisory Board, an international non-profit organization bringing hyperscale innovations to all. Selected by the OCP Foundation Board of Directors and Foundation CEO George Tchaparian, Vantage will join hyperscale enterprise infrastructure leaders to support common standards for AI infrastructure and efficiency through cross-ecosystem collaboration. Vantage will represent the perspective of the global data center operator, bringing real-world facility experience into OCP’s comprehensive work.
The Open Compute Project is the leading open hardware and infrastructure community focused on driving efficiency, standards development and innovation across the data center ecosystem. As AI infrastructure requirements accelerate around high-density compute, liquid cooling and grid integration, the OCP Foundation Advisory Board plays a key role in shaping OCP priorities, reference architectures and cross-industry collaboration.
Robin Balen, chief product officer at Vantage Data Centers, will represent the company on the Advisory Board, bringing practical experience designing and operating large-scale AI and cloud campuses globally. Member companies are selected for the board based on their ongoing support of and contribution to the OCP and its standards along with their domain expertise and leadership.
