Rocky Mount, N.C. (Oct. 21, 2025) — Ripe for Revival held a ribbon cutting for its new Brightspeed mobile market, which offers fresh produce, meat and dairy on a pay-what-you-can scale. The ribbon cutting was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025 at the weekly market at Station Square in downtown Rocky Mount, N.C. Brightspeed, the North Carolina-based provider of the country’s fastest internet service, as determined by HighSpeedInternet.com, funded the new mobile market, bringing Ripe for Revival’s fleet up to a total of 10 vehicles. The Rocky Mount, N.C.-based nonprofit serves up to 30 sites per week in central and eastern North Carolina. Brightspeed serves more than 555,000 homes and businesses in North Carolina.
