AUSTIN, TX – August 12, 2025 – Blueprint Data Centers recently announced a strategic investment in its Austin, Texas, data center portfolio, setting a new benchmark for expedited digital infrastructure deployment. These strategically positioned facilities, including sites in Austin-area cities of Taylor and Georgetown, are on track to be energized by 2026 and slated to deliver 85MW of capacity, offering an unparalleled time-to-power advantage critical for businesses navigating complex global infrastructure requirements.
A cornerstone of Blueprint’s portfolio, these Austin-area facilities are underpinned by committed utility power, substantially reducing risk and expediting deployment timelines for its mission-critical digital projects. The Taylor data center will deliver 60MW of capacity, while the Georgetown data center will offer 25MW. Taylor’s facility is strategically situated just five minutes from Samsung’s approximately $44 billion chip fabrication complex. Both the Taylor and Georgetown sites will benefit from a 50% property tax abatement for 10 years, with Georgetown further distinguished as the fastest-growing city in the U.S. in 2021 and 2022.
Austin continues to reinforce its position as a pivotal hub for digital infrastructure expansion. Blueprint’s data centers are designed with flexibility to support a range of use cases, including high-performance computing such as AI and other advanced workloads that offer distinct operational and strategic benefits. This enables organizations to capitalize on Austin’s robust ecosystem, optimize network architectures, and enhance connectivity in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. This market-centric approach directly addresses the urgent demand for scalable and rapidly deployable infrastructure, particularly as the global volume of data created is experiencing an approximately 19% CAGR and the U.S. data center market faces a record-low overall vacancy of about 2% to 2.6% in major markets.
“Our strategic investment and rapid progress in Austin directly address the market’s urgent need for immediate and high-performance digital infrastructure solutions,” said Yaerid Jacob, Blueprint Data Centers’ Founder and CEO. “We understand that ‘time-to-power’ is paramount for our partners’ strategic initiatives. Our Austin facilities, combined with the profound expertise of our leadership team, are meticulously prepared to ensure seamless and rapid deployment, enabling our clients to accelerate their digital transformation and achieve market leadership.”
