Ericsson set for a busy Almedalen 2025

Recently launched Swedish Government digitalization and industrial strategies, European Union digitalization moves, and the changing global geopolitical landscape will be among the key discussion points on Ericsson’s Almedalen 2025 agenda on the Swedish Baltic Sea island of Gotland.

Ericsson Executive Team members Erik Ekudden, the company CTO; and Patrick Johansson, Head of Ericsson Europe, Middle East and Africa, will lead Ericsson’s 2025 delegation at the unique June 24-26 event, which brings together Sweden’s leading political parties, business figures, academics and researchers to discuss government responsibilities.

Ericsson’s busy three-day schedule will comprise keynote addresses, seminars, roundtable discussions, networking mingles and debates. Ericsson’s team of technology experts will highlight the empowering role that high-end connectivity – and the related next-generation technologies such as AI that it enables – has to play from meeting Sweden-level needs, to solving global challenges.

Erik Ekudden, Ericsson Chief Technology Officer, says: “Almedalen is an opportunity to meet decision makers, business leaders, and key influencers face-to-face to discuss AI, cloud and mobile´s role in meeting national and international digitalization challenges.”
