In response to the devastating tornado in St. Louis, Missouri, AT&T has swiftly mobilized its extensive disaster response capabilities to help maintain continuous and reliable connectivity. As public safety’s partner with FirstNet®, Built with AT&T – the only 5G network built with and for America’s first responders – we are prioritizing first responders’ emergency communications needs to support their critical operations across the impacted areas.

We know impacted communities are suffering greatly. To help our wireless customers impacted by severe weather in the St. Louis area stay connected through this difficult time, we are waiving overage charges to provide unlimited talk, text and data for AT&T Postpaid & Prepaid customers with billing addresses in zip codes across affected areas from May 20, 2025 through June 18, 2025. Additionally, all AT&T store locations in the St. Louis area are open and ready to serve our customers.

We have also deployed charging stations across the St. Louis community to support those who have been displaced or remain without power. Locations include:

  • Fire Station 10 – 4161 Kennerly Ave.
  • Fire Station 12 – 5214 W. Florissant Ave.
  • North Patrol Division – 4014 Union Blvd.
  • Community Center – 4144 MLK Dr. We’re also staffing this location with snacks, water and Wi-Fi service. The hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Our hearts go out to the St Louis neighborhoods impacted by the recent tornado devastation,” said Craig Unruh, President, AT&T Missouri. “We are dedicated to supporting disaster relief efforts in the region and helping to ensure that residents, businesses and first responders maintain strong, reliable connectivity during this critical time of recovery and rebuilding.”

AT&T contributed $25,000 to the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis’s disaster relief fund to provide food, shelter, and support to those in need. And, the company contributed $25,000 to the United Way of Greater St. Louis Severe Storm/Tornado Relief Fund to support residents across the region who were impacted by the recent storms. These funds will help support the immediate and long-term recovery efforts as well as crisis response partners that are equipped and trained to respond in times of natural disaster.

We have also activated our Employee Relief Fund (ERF), operated by E4E Relief, a 501c3 public charity aimed at supporting our employees impacted by disasters and facing significant personal hardships. In addition to these ongoing charitable contributions, we will continue working with local communities in the weeks and months ahead to support anticipated recovery efforts.

Additionally, we continue to prioritize public safety’s emergency communications needs with FirstNet, the nation’s public safety network. Public safety agencies have made requests for emergency support, and the FirstNet Response Operations Group™ (ROG) has deployed mobile cell sites dedicated solely for public safety’s critical communications.
