LAS VEGAS — Oct. 7, 2024 — CleanArc, a developer and operator of renewables-focused hyperscale data center campuses, announces the appointment of Matthew Englert as Chief Development Officer (CDO). Englert is the latest addition to CleanArc’s growing senior leadership team as the company prepares to launch its inaugural hyperscale data center campus. Along with the rest of the CleanArc leadership team, Englert is attending Yotta 2024 in Las Vegas this week.
Englert brings over 25 years of experience in electrical program management and data center design, with a track record of driving innovation, operational excellence, and delivery certainty.
As CleanArc’s CDO, he will be responsible for all hyperscale project development including property rezoning, entitlements, and other building requirements, as well as overseeing construction delivery teams across the country.
“Matt is now officially joining CleanArc, but he isn’t new to our team,” said CEO James Trout. “I’ve worked with Matt many times over the years and have found him to be an exceptional leader and innovator in data center design and construction. In fact, he’s been advising our team for the last year as we conceptualized our construction plans. We are so pleased that he’s decided to come on board.”
Prior to joining CleanArc, Englert served as the Founder and President of Modular Power Solutions, where he introduced innovative offsite manufacturing technologies that streamlined operations and substantially reduced deployment time and costs. Concurrently, as Chief Operating Officer at Rosendin Electric, he played a pivotal role in growing the company to over $3 billion in annual revenue. While there, he also developed several key patents that advanced offsite manufacturing techniques and data center construction. When Trout founded Vantage Data Centers, Englert was part of the team that developed the original building program.
