AireBeam’s CEO Ben Elkins to Discuss BEAD Funding on Arizona Technology Council’s AZ TechCast Podcast on July 30

Other Guests Include Arizona State Broadband Director Sandip Bhowmick and Infusion’s Kelly Leblanc

Arizona City, AZ – July 25, 2024 – Ben Elkins, CEO of AireBeam, Arizona’s fastest growing fiber to the home and fixed wireless Internet service provider, will be featured on a podcast put on by the Arizona Technology Council at 1 p.m. PT on July 30 entitled Connecting Communities: The Impact of BEAD Funding on Internet Access. He will be a featured guest of the AZ TechCast Podcast along with Arizona State’s Broadband Director Sandip Bhowmick and Kelly Leblanc, chief marketing and product officer at IP Infusion.

The Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program is funding to build out Internet services to underserved parts of the country, including Arizona. It is beginning to flow to all U.S. states and territories this year and is expected to have a significant impact on Internet access for everyone, including residents of Arizona.

In this episode of AZ TechCast, broadband industry experts Bhowmick, Elkins and LeBlanc will come together to discuss the transformative impact of BEAD funding on Internet access and communications in Arizona. They’ll explore how this funding is reshaping the digital landscape, the challenges and opportunities it presents, and how it compares to past programs.

“BEAD funding is now making its way to states and territories in the U.S.,” Elkins said. “This is the culmination of the Biden administration’s infrastructure legislation of a few years ago in support of widespread Internet access. Local agencies, ISPs, and users will now determine how this funding will make the biggest impact on communities. We’ll try to provide some clarity on all of that on the podcast.”

Tune in live to this episode of AZ TechCast on July 30th at 1 p.m. on Phoenix Business RadioX’s website or LinkedIn page or catch the reply on your favorite podcast streaming platform. Guests this month come from Arizona Commerce Authority, AireBeam and IP Infusion.
