By adopting SCS 9001 Release 2.0, companies can align with government regulations and industry best practices, ensuring a robust and secure supply chain network. TIA’s training courses are designed to assist organizations in navigating the certification process and equipping staff with the knowledge and skills needed for successful execution of the SCS 9001 R2.0 standard certification process.
Beginning in mid-July, TIA will also offer a series of on-demand and leader-led training courses designed to introduce and guide the implementation and certification process of the SCS 9001 R2.0 standard. The escalating threat of cyber terrorism is expected to cost companies and national economies over $10 trillion annually by 2025, with attacks on the ICT supply chain posing significant risks to global networks. In response, the TIA released the updated SCS 9001 Release 2.0, the first global Cybersecurity and Supply Chain Security Standard specifically for the ICT industry.
TIA has also published a white paper highlighting the factors contributing to the increase in cyberattacks and how its SCS 9001 standard can help protect against bad actors that can disrupt business continuity, damage reputations and threaten national security.
Because SCS 9001 2.0 helps operationalize National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and other government programs, it is applicable to several U.S. Department of Commerce and FCC initiatives currently underway such as the $42.5 billion Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) program.
