New York – June 23, 2011 — Sidera Networks, the premier provider of fiber optic-based network solutions, announced today that it has extended its fiber optic network to the DuPont Fabros Technology (DFT) data center in Piscataway, New Jersey (“NJ1”) providing diverse, low-latency connectivity to the site.
DFT’s tenants now can benefit from ultra low-latency connectivity to key financial exchanges and carrier hotels through diverse routes available through Sidera’s Xtreme Network. DFT’s NJ1 data center is now a network node on Sidera’s ultra low-latency Xtreme Network and is directly connected to two of the major carrier hotels in the NY metro area – 111 Eighth Avenue and 165 Halsey Street.
