We’re working to restore service and support communities affected by Tropical Storm Edouard.
Overall, our wireless network performed well in areas affected by the storm and is operating at more than 99% of normal in Texas and Louisiana. Where conditions are safe, our teams are assessing damage, gaining access to affected sites, and restoring service to the few impacted cell sites as quickly as possible.
How we prepared for this storm:
- Positioned and refueled generators at critical cell sites.
- Moved network equipment above anticipated flood levels.
- Staged specialized disaster response personnel in strategic locations for rapid response.
Supporting public safety: The FirstNet®, Built with AT&T team is on the ground assisting first responders.
- The FirstNet Response Operations Group™ (ROG) is ready to deploy dedicated FirstNet assets and other communications solutions.
- FirstNet liaisons are coordinating with federal, state, and local officials.
Updates will be posted to this page throughout our recovery work. Our focus remains clear: keeping our employees safe and our customers, first responders, and communities connected.
