24th of September 2026 – FLAG and Xenith Infrastructure Group (Xenith IG) have expanded their partnership in Singapore, combining FLAG’s international subsea capacity services with Xenith IG’s metro dark fibre network to provide more direct access to critical digital infrastructure.
Singapore is a leading digital infrastructure hub within Asia-Pacific and a critical gateway for international subsea connectivity. Under the expanded agreement, Xenith IG will provide FLAG with additional dark fibre routes connecting FLAG’s subsea infrastructure at a primary cable landing station in Changi to key data precincts across Singapore.
Shared customers will gain access to Xenith IG’s 458+ km metro dark fibre network, connecting 38 on-net data centres across the island. Through Xenith IG’s multipath cross-border dark fibre network into Johor Bahru, customers can also access a further 304+ km of network and connectivity to 25 on-net data centres. FLAG will now be able to connect customers from India to Singapore and onwards to the US as part of multiple subsea investments, with Singapore becoming a critical connectivity hub for FLAG globally.
The partnership creates a more integrated proposition, linking FLAG’s international subsea infrastructure directly into Singapore’s digital hubs and extending reach into the Singapore-Johor digital corridor. Customers benefit from greater route diversity, lower latency, and enhanced resiliency both globally and locally in Singapore through this partnership. The agreement also strengthens Xenith IG’s direct interconnectivity with FLAG’s subsea investments serving Singapore, including the ECHO cable system connecting Singapore and the United States via Guam, and the IAX cable system connecting Singapore with Mumbai and Chennai.
