Our thoughts are with the Texas communities impacted by the Ross Fire burning in Palo Pinto and Jack Counties. At this time, we are not experiencing any impacts to our wireless or wireline (landline and internet) network due to the wildfire.

We’re dedicated to reliably connecting the firefighters, emergency managers, and other first responders working to contain the Ross Fire with FirstNet®, Built with AT&T – America’s public safety network. The FirstNet Response Operations Group™ (ROG) – led by former first responders – is on the ground and guiding the deployment of dedicated FirstNet assets and other solutions based on public safety’s needs. Assets include a SatCOLT (Satellite Cell on Light Truck), CRDs (Compact Rapid Deployables™), and portable generators. These assets help ensure first responders have the mission-critical connectivity they need to support their emergency communications.

AT&T, in collaboration with non-profit Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), is deploying a 14-foot Wi-Fi charging trailer to the Old Dempsey Heliport in Palo Pinto County today to support first responders and others managing relief efforts on the ground.

We continue to closely monitor the performance of our network and have teams ready to respond to any impacts, if needed. As always, our top priority is keeping our customers, their families, and first responders connected.
