The report aims to establish a technical foundation for the evolution of global Business Support Systems (BSS) in the AI-native era.

In a speech entitled, Agentic BSS: Enabling Operators to Evolve from ‘Process-Driven’ to ‘Intent-Driven’ Value Operations,” John Wan, Director of Huawei’s Software Marketing, GTS, said the company’s new AI-native BSS framework prioritizes business results over technical processes. By focusing on outcomes and using Telecom Ontology framework and domain models, he said, the system enables a fundamental transformation in Telecom’s operations paradigm.
