Veteran Operations and Strategy Executive Brings Decades of Large-Scale Business Experience
San Ramon, CA — Nautilus Data Technologies, the pioneer of data center liquid cooling, welcomes Elizabeth Chase, PhD, as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Chase will lead the day-to-day operations across the entire organization, with a focus on building the operational infrastructure required to support Nautilus’s next phase of growth.
Chase brings an extensive background, with more than two decades of executive experience leading business transformation, operations strategy and large-scale organizational change across the data center, defense technology and enterprise sectors. She most recently served as a supply chain consultant at Cynosure LLC, where she led global adoption of SAP MRP and directed the disposition of more than $30 million in inventory. Prior to that, she served as VP of Business Operations at Hypori LLC, where she managed the company’s divestiture from its parent, led Series A due diligence and built the operational infrastructure for a newly independent company.
“Elizabeth has a track record of turning complex operational challenges into measurable results,” said Rob Pfleging of Nautilus Data Technologies. “Her background in data center infrastructure, combined with her discipline around execution and P&L management, makes her exactly the right person to help us scale.”
Her career also includes senior leadership roles at Emerson Network Power (now Vertiv), where she oversaw a post-acquisition consolidation of six separate business units and secured $8.5 million in growth investment for a newly formed $250 million global division. At Dell, she led the recovery of a $90 million data center project that resulted in a $180 million continuation contract, and defined the organizational structure for a $250 million global hyperscale solutions business.
“I’m genuinely excited to join Nautilus Data Technologies as COO and contribute to a company whose innovative technology and commitment to environmental responsibility set a new standard for the industry,” said Elizabeth Chase.
Chase is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds certifications from ASQ as a Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Manager and Quality Auditor. She served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, commanding medical support units in the United States and Germany. She holds a PhD in Organizational Development Leadership from Capella University, an MS in Quality Systems Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
