Huawei will Unveil Next-Gen AI-Native O&M Solution, Defining a New Paradigm for Intelligent Operations

[Barcelona, Spain, March 1, 2026] Huawei will officially unveil the Next-Gen AI-Native Intelligent Operations Solution during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026. The release marks a strategic pivot in network management, evolving from the traditional “tool-assisted human” model to a proactive, predictive paradigm driven by AI Agents.

As network complexity continues to escalate, the O&M landscape is undergoing a fundamental paradigm shift. Gartner predicts that by 2028, 15% of O&M decisions will be executed autonomously by AI Agents. Meanwhile, IDC forecasts that AI Agents will permeate 30% of all O&M scenarios by 2030. Embracing this inevitable trend, Huawei has officially launched its next-generation AI-Native Intelligent Operations solution at MWC 2026.

A Paradigm Shift: From Reactive to Autonomous, creating a “Dual Protection” model across T-1 and T0

Powered by Digital Twin Network (DTN) and the EDNS 2.0 foundation model, this solution reshapes the operational paradigm by elevating it to a “Dual-Protection” model, combining T-1 predictive prevention with T0 proactive response. At the T-1 stage, the real-time synergy between EDNS 2.0 and DTN enables the system to pre-emptively identify and eliminate risks. This ensures that at the T0 moment of any potential fault, backup and disaster recovery mechanisms are instantly activated, guaranteeing ultra-high service stability and continuity.

The solution introduces a newly architected Intelligent Operations OS based on an AI-Native framework, which consists of three core layers: the Platform Layer, the Agent Layer, and the Service Layer.

260301-10AI-Native 3-Layer Framework for Intelligent Operations

  • The Platform Layer: Serves as the unified foundation, powered by Digital Twin Network (DTN) and the newly upgraded EDNS 2.0. It enables standardized modeling and centralized operations across cross-domain and multi-vendor infrastructure, ensuring seamless management of the entire network
  • The Agent Layer: Focuses on developing scenario-specific AI Agents—our “Digital Employees”, to drive an exponential leap in operational efficiency. Complementing this, the Agent Studio toolchain empowers operators and partners with the capabilities to develop and customize their own intelligent agents.
  • The Service Layer:Establishes a “Human Experts + Digital Employees” Agentic Operations model, redefining traditional O&M workflows. it optimizes organizational structures and accelerates the evolution of workforce skillsets for the AI era.

AI-Native is more than just a technology; it is a systematic framework dedicated to value creation. Transitioning toward AI-Native Intelligent Operations and Autonomous Networks (AN) is a comprehensive system engineering journey.
