Boston, MA — March 4, 2026 — As San Francisco prepared to welcome football fans from around the world for the Big Game, American Tower successfully completed a major 5G network infrastructure upgrade at the Moscone Center—enabling seamless connectivity for the league’s premier fan experience.
One of the largest and most iconic convention centers in the U.S., the Moscone Center spans more than two million square feet and hosts hundreds of events that attract over a million attendees each year. During the week of the Big Game, tens of thousands of fans passed through the venue, transforming it into a nonstop hub for streaming, sharing, and real-time digital engagement.
Powering this enriched fan experience is a newly deployed, neutral-host 5G Distributed Antenna System (DAS) built for speed, scale, and reliability.
