An artificial intelligence conference has been held in Blyth, the first of its kind in the region.
Led and organised by Ian Lavery, MP for Blyth and Ashington, the event brought together senior leaders from business, government, energy labour and the community to explore how AI can deliver fair, inclusive growth across the region.
The event titled ‘The Past We Inherit, The Future We Build – AI and the North East’, featured keynote speeches and panel discussions on AI’s impact on employment, public services, infrastructure, energy and everyday life.
