Your last chance to enter – the deadline for the MEFFYS 2026 has been extended to January 27th.
The 21st MEFFYS will once again bring together the global mobile ecosystem to honour excellence, creativity, and innovation across the industry.
Anyone can nominate a company whose product, service or individual has made an impact in the mobile ecosystem in 2025. This could be anything that is mobile specific – the scope is enormous. You do not need to be a member of MEF to be nominated.
A company can nominate themselves in any (or all) of the 10 categories, provided it is a different product or service applicable to each category. In other words, one company can submit 10 different entries.
The 2026 awards will shine a spotlight on the technologies, companies, and individuals shaping the next generation of mobile experiences.
The window for submissions has been extended to 27th January 2026.
Sometimes referred to as the ‘Oscars of the Mobile Ecosystem’ the MEFFYS 2026 has nine award categories, plus a Special Award:
- Content & Advertising – What has been the most innovative content or advertising service for mobile users in 2026?
- Payments & Commerce – What has been the most innovative Mobile Payment service showcasing usability and security?
- ID & Data – What has been the best innovation in the area of Authentication in the past 12 months?
- Connectivity & Wholesale – What has been the most innovative solution for connectivity or global roaming this year?
- Messaging Channels – What has been the most innovative messaging service enabling richer communication and engagement for mobile users?
- Omnichannel Customer Experience – What has been the most impactful Omnichannel enterprise comms campaign this year?
- Mobile Evolution – What has been the most ground-breaking advancement in mobile technology or networks in the past year?
- Antifraud – What has been the best antifraud solution protecting mobile users and networks against emerging threats?
- ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance – What initiative has made the greatest impact in advancing sustainability, social responsibility, or corporate governance in the mobile industry?
- Special Award: Personal Contribution to the Mobile Ecosystem – The person who has distinguished themselves for their Contribution to the mobile ecosystem advancement with impactful innovations, significant collaborations and/or consistent consumer protection
The winners will be announced live at ‘The Oscars of the Mobile Industry’ in Barcelona at the 21st MEFFYS Awards Ceremony on Sunday March 1, 2026
The awards ceremony will a sumptuous sit-down dinner event followed by a Masquerade Ball after-party with entertainment, conversations with friends new and existing, dancing, and a few surprises (something the MEFFYs is well known for!). It is the perfect opportunity to take the pulse of the latest ideas and trends within the mobile ecosystem. Both members and non-members are welcome to join the MEFFYs dinner and Masquerade Ball.
