GNM Reaches 700 Connected ASNs on GNM Internet Exchange Platform

GNM, a Dutch backbone provider,  has announced that 700 Autonomous Systems (ASNs) are now connected to GNM-IX, the company’s Internet Exchange platform.

The milestone reflects not only participant scale, but also the volume and diversity of traffic exchanged across the platform every day, with 10.7 Tbps of peak traffic flowing through the exchange. Today, GNM-IX operates as a pan-European interconnection platform with 80+ active locations across Europe, supporting both regional and global peering within a single, unified architecture. Networks connect close to their users and content, while scaling traffic across regions without changing platforms, policies, or operational models.

“This achievement is built on the trust and loyalty of our customers,” said Alex Surkov. “Each network connected to GNM-IX contributes to the overall interconnection environment. Reaching 700 ASNs is the result of long-term collaboration with our participants and partners.”

GNM continues to develop its interconnection infrastructure across Europe, supporting a broad range of networks – from regional operators to international service providers, and enabling traffic exchange across multiple locations within a single platform.

The company thanks all networks connected to GNM-IX for their continued cooperation and contribution to the growth of the exchange.
