Anritsu Corporation Selected for CDP’s “A List” Two Years in a Row

~ Global Climate Change Initiatives Highly Recognized Internationally ~

ANRITSU CORPORATION (President Hirokazu Hamada) has been named to CDP’s prestigious “A List” for the second year in a row in the organization’s 2025 climate change assessment — the highest rating awarded.

CDP is a globally renowned non-profit organization that promotes corporate environmental transparency by rigorously evaluating the disclosure and management of climate-related information from companies and municipalities worldwide.

The A List recognizes companies that demonstrate outstanding performance in addressing climate change while maintaining exceptional transparency in environmental disclosures. In 2025, more than 22,100 companies worldwide responded to this assessment. Being selected from among this large number of companies for the A List for the second year in a row underscores strong international recognition of Anritsu’s sustained efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, expand renewable energy use, and minimize environmental impact across our entire supply chain.

In the current fiscal year, the Anritsu Group revised its environmental policy and further strengthened its global framework for reducing environmental impact.

The policy revision aims to clearly articulate our commitment as a leading environmental company and ensure this commitment is consistently recognized and understood worldwide.

Close collaboration with our overseas sites — including those in Chicago (USA), Thailand, and Romania — played a key role in enhancing the quality and scope of our environmental information disclosure, significantly contributing to this achievement.

We also published building-specific electricity consumption data and real-time energy usage on our internal intranet. This initiative has increased employees’ awareness that energy-saving is a shared personal responsibility and has strengthened the adoption of energy-saving measures company-wide.

In terms of renewable energy adoption, we are advancing in-house power generation through solar systems under our “PGRE30” target: increasing the share of in-house renewable energy generation from 0.8% (based on FY2018 electricity consumption) to approximately 30% by around 2030.

In FY2024, this ratio reached 12.5%.

We continue to intensify efforts to reduce GHG emissions in the upstream supply chain through proactive supplier engagement. During new product development, we conduct product assessments and Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to minimize energy consumption during product use.

These combined efforts resulted in a 4.6% reduction in CO₂ emissions across the entire supply chain compared to fiscal year 2023.

Moving forward, Anritsu will continue to enhance environmental management to increase corporate value and contribute to a sustainable society. We aspire to be recognized globally as a leader in environmental initiatives—a company that inspires pride in our employees and earns deep trust from local communities, customers, and business partners alike.
