Anritsu Selected as a “Supplier Engagement Leader,” the highest rating, in CDP’s “Supplier Engagement Assessment”

ANRITSU CORPORATION (President Hirokazu Hamada) has been selected as a “Supplier Engagement Leader,” the highest rating in the Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) conducted by CDP[※1], an international non-profit organization in the environmental field.

In February 2025, Anritsu was also selected for CDP’s “A List” in the climate change category, marking the first time the company has received both recognitions in the same year.

The SEA evaluates corporate efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through collaboration with suppliers. Companies responding to CDP’s questionnaire are assessed in four categories: “Governance,” “Targets,” “Scope 3 Emissions,” and “Value Chain Engagement.” Those demonstrating outstanding initiatives are designated as “Supplier Engagement Leaders.” This marks Anritsu’s fourth selection, following recognitions in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Anritsu aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. By 2030, the company targets a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2[※2] greenhouse gas emissions compared to fiscal 2021, and a 27.5% reduction in Scope 3 (Categories 1 and 11)[※3] emissions compared to fiscal 2019. For Scope 3 Category 1 (“Purchased goods and services”), Anritsu engages suppliers through policy briefings and information exchange meetings, encouraging them to calculate and reduce energy consumption collaboratively.

Going forward, Anritsu will continue to treat climate action as a key management priority, strengthening supplier engagement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the entire supply chain.
